Whether you manage a farm or run a commercial operation, as a business owner it’s important that you have the right insurance to protect your assets, your people and yourself.

WFI has a range of insurance products that have been created to help suit the needs of rural and commercial operators.

Rural Insurance Solutions

Here are some of our products for rural businesses:

Rural Plan

An insurance solution for rural properties. Whether you need insurance for your farm infrastructure, equipment, vehicles or general property, you can tailor a level of cover that best suits your needs Dependant on your level of cover and terms of the policy, you may opt for cover against fire, burglary and theft, loss of income, and more.

Livestock Insurance

Protecting your livestock is arguably one of the most important parts of running a productive and profitable farm. Our Livestock Insurance can help cover against the death or loss of use of specific animals. It includes cover for your bull or ram and can add on extra benefits like cover for the death of a cow as a result of calving, death of a mare as a result of foaling, death of a stallion as a result of elective castration, and death of an unborn foal.

Early Bird Crop Insurance

Specifically designed for grain growers, our Early Bird Crop Insurance protects you well before the growing season kicks off. This policy helps insure against potential losses due to fire, adverse weather conditions like hail, damage by livestock, stored seed risks, and the escape of harmful chemicals, giving you added peace of mind as you plan, plant and harvest your crops.

Commercial Insurance solutions

Beyond our rural-specific solutions, WFI also has a commercial insurance offering:

Commercial Plan

This product helps cover your business’s physical and operational assets. This includes cover for commercial buildings, vehicles and stock, protecting against losses from accidents, fire, lightning, earthquakes, damage from theft and more. The plan is flexible, which means you can tailor your coverage to fit your commercial needs – whether you operate in retail, manufacturing or service industries.

It’s important to have the right tools for the job, our Trades Insurance Kit offers coverage options to help suit the needs of mobile tradies like plumbers, electricians and mobile service providers like dog grooming businesses. You can pick and choose the cover that best suits your operations
