What should I do if I’m having trouble registering for the online claims portal?

To register on the portal, you’ll need to be the main contact on the policy and provide your surname, policy number and email or mobile number. If you’re having trouble registering, you can call us on 1300 934 934 (8am–8pm AEDT, Monday–Friday).

I’ve forgotten my password, what can I do?

We're making it quick and easy to log in.

You no longer have to remember your password. Choose to get a verification code sent to your registered email or mobile and we'll provide you with a 6-digit code to quickly access your account.

If you prefer to log in using a password, when you visit the log in screen, click “Forgot password?” fill in the blanks and you’ll be prompted to reset your password.

How do I update my phone number or email address to log into the online claims portal?

Call us on 1300 934 934 (8am–8pm AEDT, Monday–Friday) if you need to update the mobile or email address that you use to log into the portal.

Can I make changes to my policy in the online claims portal?

No, you can’t make changes to your policy in the online claims portal. The online claims portal can be used to make, view and manage claims for Private Motor Insurance, Classic Home Insurance and Standard Home Insurance policies.

Can an additional policy holder or insured access the online claims portal?

No, access to the online claims portal is restricted to the main contact person listed on the policy.

If an additional policy holder would like to make or discuss a claim, they can call us on 1300 934 934 (8am–8pm AEDT, Monday–Friday). They can also make a claim by submitting one of these forms.

Why can’t I make a claim for my Commercial or Farm policies in the online claims portal?

The online claims portal is only for Private Motor Insurance, Classic Home Insurance and Standard Home Insurance policies at the moment. If you need to make a claim for multiple assets with one of these policies, you’ll need to give us a call on 1300 934 934 to make a claim.

To make a claim for any other type of insurance, call 1300 934 934 anytime 24/7.

Can I pay my excess online?

Yes, you can pay your excess online for most claims (if there is an excess owing).

Before you pay online, we’ll let you know how much the excess is. If you’re unsure, you can call us on 1300 934 934 (8am–8pm AEDT, Monday–Friday).
