G’day! I’m Daniel, your WFI Local Area Manager for Northcliffe, Pemberton, Manjimup, Bridgetown and Boyup Brook. Born and bred in Western Australia’s Manjimup, I know exactly what it’s like to cultivate and live off the land. I grew up tending to beef and potatoes on my parents’ farm and went on to establish a truffle orchard with my wife Lauren and our four little ones Jett, Ella, Sam and Jules.
When I began my career with WFI in 2006, I didn’t know the first thing about insurance. But I did have all the practical knowledge and experience of growing up in a farming community , so I know what Australian farmers need and want when it comes to reliable cover.

The people we serve are the heart of our business and the relationships we forge with our customers are what we do best. From farming, business, strata to private insurance, our cover is simple, practical, and laid-back.
We have a long and proud history dating back to 1919. Our service is the cornerstone of our business and our customers put a lot of trust in me to protect what they work hard for, but most importantly, to protect their livelihoods.
Getting my hands dirty and knees deep in dirt on our truffle orchid isn’t just one of my greatest passions – it’s a way of life. That’s just one of the reasons why I can relate to farmers and help them through thick or thin. It’s a tight-knit community and you’ll often find me discussing their requirements to tailor a suitable package to support their needs at their home. At the end of the day, I understand the local area and the importance of insuring valuable assets.
What keeps me down to earth is spending time with my family, working on the farm, and coaching the Deanmill Junior year 8/9 team – which my eldest son plays for.
