The Business Property Damage policy can be taken out under our Commercial Plan. It provides cover against many events that can cause damage to your commercial property.

Cover for a range of events

Provides cover against physical loss and damage directly caused by a number of different events. These events include accident, fire, lightning, explosion or implosion, earthquake, escape of liquid, damage directly caused by a burglar or thief and vandalism, plus many more.
Choose the level of cover for your building

There are two methods available for calculating the amount payable for a claim. These methods are ‘Indemnity’ and ‘Replacement’.

Additional Benefits

Included in the sums insured under the Business Property Damage policy are additional benefits. You can also choose to insure book debts, loss or damage to customers' property, mortgage protection for a unit, and cover for tax audit costs. The following benefits are in addition to the sum insured when you select the Business Property Damage policy:

- Up to $10,000 for restoration of your business records and books of account
