Legal liability cover for your business

Business Legal Liability is a policy that can be taken out under our Commercial Plan. It provides protection for your business against the financial loss experienced if you are found liable to pay compensation for property damage or personal injury caused by you, your employees or your products.

Legal Costs

Even if you are not at fault, there may be considerable legal costs incurred in defending a claim. If we agree to indemnify you, we pay the reasonable legal costs you incur to defend or settle the claim made against you, so long as you seek our prior approval.
Goods in your care, custody or control

For loss of or damage to property in your physical or legal possession, custody or control, we pay up to $250,000 or the sum insured shown on the Certificate of Insurance.
Cover outside of Australia

This policy can also extend outside Australia with respect to an overseas business visit in connection with your business by directors / employees and products supplied from within Australia.
